After yesterday's success with the interview i held with the EllenorLions Hospice i started today by finishing my second draft for my proposal. I have now handed it in to my tutors and am waiting for feedback on what is good and what needs to be improved before monday when the final deadline is for this. I have also undergone a tutorial with my tutor today, he showed me the basics of what settings i need to put the camera on to create depth of field. He also told me that i would need something in the background, such as retro wallpaper, or a set such as the dining room of someones home. Tonight i am meeting up with a photographer where he will show more in depth in how to create certain effects using depth of field. I am particularly inspired by Mark Johnson's work and would like to create a similar effect, where only a small amount of the face is in focus. This afternoon i am writing up artist research from images that i stuck in the other day and will then design a fourth A1 sheet, which will show the photographs i took the other day, showing the experimentation i undertook until i got a successful image.
