The 1st deadline for the project proposal is coming up and my tutors organised an activity for the class to do. They gave out some project proposals from last year, some that were at distinction level, others which were average and some that were referal standard. We organised ourselves into small groups where we read the proposal form that was given to us. Based on the proposal that my group had i would have said that it was at a pass standard. Their was mistakes such as spelling and grammer, things that they could of improved on such as not repeating themselves and talk more about the artists which they wanted to look at, however i think that carrying their project on from the previous project was a good idea and also using the harvard format was good practice. After this task we came together as a class and discussed the proposal forms we had. The tutors then explained the grading criteria, which has helped me to gain a better understanding of the form, and aim for the highest possible grade. After getting my 1st draft of the proposal form back the other day i changed some of context and then went on to collecting sources from the library on artists my tutors suggested to me. I began photocopying pages in books and printing out images from the internet and began to lay out the images onto an A1 sheet. My aim for tomorrow is to complete the A1 sheet which will probably take most of the day and also to add titles in my journal to make it more visually interesting.
